I did it years ago ,, seems to me I had to remove the sail panel and door panel.  but then again , I can't clearly remember.  maybe  the studs can be reached from the trunk??
So,, if someone can help me remember ,  much appreciated ... save me taking off stuff I don't need to.

For the long part along the C piller, remove the interior the sail panel. This will expose the nuts. For the curve around to the rear windshield, the nuts are accessible from underneath, inside the trunk.
