seen a 69 today, I'm told it is a 427 car , auto and 4.11 posi 12 bolt. looked to be pepper green with a black vinyl top. greeny/gold buckets and console.
Sorry , it was buried under blankets and parts, so I wasn't able to get them to lift the hood for the data tag.
I will be back that way in 6 weeks , I'll try then..
how many 427 2+2 do we know of??

yeah,,, I HAVE to get them to let me see a bit more of it, the lights where off in the booth, just the door open, no bumper on the car, when I noticed it was a 69,, then the details started coming out. not sure if it was still original paint? all the trim was off the car?

I had a 1969 2+2 in 1971 automatic with the L36, every option known. Was light blue 21C I believe the code. With white interior and white roof. Was my younger years, car was destroyed one rainy night in 1972. Rain, Beer, Joint, 390 HP, Bias Belted 14 inch tires along with no fear, do not blend well. Car did not make it, but I did. I bought the car from a dealership in Yarmouth Nova Scotia, called Motor Mart.
Re the 409, some of us Alberta guys got together and talked about pooling our nonexistent funds. One of they guy was going got ask a source he knew that had seen the car if it was anywhere near worth the money. We haven't heard back yet
That being said I'm not sure if it hasn't already been snapped up since then.
Ken, our friend called his bud and the car is not worth the bucks in his mind. Almost a gimme then see if you can fix it job for someone that does all their own work.
Hey Ken, I keep trying to picture that car back when it was new, can you imagine that black paint and red interior and that burbling exhaust from that 409. This would have been one bad boy. Enough looks and enough muscle to get any guy l**d in Debden SK in 1964 that's for sure.
