67 GP weatherstrip

I am looking for door seals (weatherstrip) for the 67 Grande Parisienne. My intent is not to slam  or promote any parts dealer, just to get the right parts. I have orders from Ames and NOS for other things, but am confused. Ames carries these seals for this year, but they state that they can fit all except the GP. NOS Reproductions part 4012342 states "67-68 GM fullsize models, 2dr hardtop & convertible Door Seals"  The reason that I have doubt is that Ames says they wont fit. Does anyone have expertise in this area? Maybe Dale at NOS  can sort me out?  tks

I suspect it is different because the 1/4 window on the GP is a different shape than the rest of the 2 door hardtops. Someone with more experience may be able to confirm or deny that.

Or maybe I don't understand your question. Are you talking about the one right on the door, to seal the door to the body or the ones that seal the glass to either the door or the body?

I am looking for the ones mounted directly on the door, approx 90" with molded ends. They are in good shape if I have to use them. It would be better than forcing something to fit, but new would be nice. Thanks!

I can check interchange but I was thinking that is the same.

Only thing is, I think the US GP door has no vent glass and your's does, doesn't it? That may make it different.

Yes, mine has vent windows and the US doesnt. The strip ends at the vent window, but definitely may be formed different at the end where they meet.

I checked out the 3 major weather strip manufacturers and all show the 67 GM 'B' & 'C'  body vent window cars using the same door weather strip.  Metro & Steel both say with the exception of the Grande Prix (no vent window). Soff Seal does not even mention the Grande Prix. I believe the part #4012346 Should be OK for the Grande Parisienne
