67 Beaumont Emblem Locations

Ok guys Im looking to possibly change the exterior of my Chevelle to have it look some what of a Beaumont. Now before I get into this can some help out with some good pix of the different trims that are out there, cause I don't have a clue. I heard there's a SD model and those parts are really hard to come by. So theres no company out there making these parts? some pix would help. And yes mines a 2 no post car it's a real SS and a real mess that Im working on, I live in Miami, FL so I thought it'll be cool to have something a little different cruising the streets biggrin

RE: 67 Beaumont's

Dale's Mucle Cars sells the emblems , eye brow moldings and quarter panel louvers for an SD, you need clear signal lenses, taillight housings, grille, tail panel trim SD tail trim is tough to find, grille shouldn't be too bad

What the...?  I thought I had my Kijiji link in "favorites" set up to catch all of the Beaumont Kijiji parts being offered in Canada but this one didn't appear though.  I wonder what '66 postings I've missed?  Back to the old drawing board... (Thanks for posting it!)

No I dont want to clone I justwant to add a few parts in there to mix this up a bit. The cars getting an LS2 and the interiors gonna be customized as well so im really looking at my option and what would really set this car of diffrent from the rest. Like these tail lights I love they look much cleaner than the chevelles. I need to see more pix on grill's I havnt seen to many

Don't be scared to clone. Someone will bash me for this but there's nothing wrong with a clone as long as it's represented as a clone.

I don't think it matters what you call it, its a customized chevelle at that point... so have fun with it!

here are some pics of mine...the hardest part now to find is the wider insert in the rear panel that is SD only...

Thats a nice one. Now doyou mean the wider insert's in the quarter panels?

As far as thr front goes the grill seems tobe the only diffrence, correct me if Im wrong here.

The the rear of course the tail lights, molding and lettering.

Quarters, arent those the same quarters off a Lemans?

Also what parts were you offering me before cause Id like to get started on this, LMK price with shipping to Miami, FL 33177 You can email me at jadafreak@aol.com of pm me thats fine as well

Those two parallel lines that are painted black in the picture are unique to SD. The Customs have the shiny moulding part only.

All of the sheet metal on a 67 is chevelle. Everything is bolt on except for the dash (interior is all chevelle, exc the steering wheel and the same SD emblem on the trunk lid is over the glovebox). The grille is bolt on, and you'll need to buy repro f.fender eyebrows (on ebay), the rocker mouldings on a beaumont are chevelle peices. everything SD specific is available repro now i'm pretty sure except that extra wide trim add on on the rear panel. You will have to find the front fender emblems (which are on all 67s) and the rear letters and custom chrome band around the letters (which will be a little harder to find)....

Here are my measured emblems that i've sent to others for reference...(all those dimensions are from emblems on original sheet metal)... I do not have any beaumont parts for sale, but they do pop up quite often...

the fins are originally painted with just the raised edge chrome, but i thought it was a shame to paint over the chrome!

Cool. I had never seen anyone with the dimensions for them. That is excellent. Do you have contact info? I have no idea who that is.
