I've been waiting for him to come to my city for years; last April he did - but I was in Florida at the time. Hope to get another chance soon to see him perform.
While I was watching him I was thinking, how many people can stand there all alone, a guitar and harmonica no other accompiment and captivate an audience.
When he finished my 20 year son said, did you notice anything about that? What I asked, he was all alone, nobody else with him. Pretty impressive when you can impress a 20 year old these days I'd say.
Great clip!! Reminds me of my passed Uncle back in my younger days growing up in Newfoundland. We were a very musical family with guitars and we would jam every weekend usually at his place! He was like Neil with the harmonica going with the guitar but singing songs like the old Hank Willams era tunes one after another after the other.......Too bad video cameras weren't thought of as much then... Sure would be nice to watch it now and again.......!
That's the real stuff! Recorded music, as good as it can be, is just like canned food compared to fresh live music especially in your own kitchen eh?
You had better believe it!!! My original 6 string flat top has the finger board between the frets worn down through the wood finish to the wood itself....... All of it by myself! Many an hour jammin' I tell ya me son!!!! (lol)
