TACH FOR 1967 BEAUMONT

HI WONDERING IF IT IS TRUE THAT THE 1964 GTO IN  DASH TACH IS THE ONLY TACH THAT WILL FIT IN PLACE OF THE CLOCK IN MY 67 BEAUMONT.  I ALSO NEED A MINT DASH PAD, DOES IT ONLY FIT THE 67 BEAUMONT OR IS IT GTO ALSO ? OER?

I believe the only perfect fit is the 64 tach, yes.

The dash pad is GTO or Beaumont, should be identical, 67 only.

Not used, sorry. I see the tachs on ebay sometimes and I think both pieces are actually reproduced if I'm correct.

what is the quality like?  is it accurate?

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

I have read on a different Pontiac forum (yeah, I know, I know........) that the repro tachs have occasionally had a quality issue. Problem is, the options are not too great. Pay big for an OEM tach or buy a repro.

Oh, and the other forum is a US forum. I don't spend much time there. How could I when my whole life is spent here???

Ames , OPGI, the Paddock, the parts place, take your pic and find a canadian dist. , They all list them now , actually affordable.

the real deal is outta my price range.

I bought the repro tack from Ames nice fit $205 color is just a little light and shiny but works greatand new.

Hi chevy4ever.  I bought a 64 GTO in-dash tach from Ames Performance this past february Part #A259HK for $149.00 plus $30.00 shipping. The colour matced perfect and it works great. I am very satisfied.

is the tach from ames performance (#a259hk) the same tach to be used in a 66 beaumont sd? also, did pontiac ever use the knee knocker tach?
