I came across this 74 this morning while drinking my breakfast of champions...
excellent deal in my opinion....cheap and just needs finishing....and I personally love odd ball stuff....what a sleeper! My dad had a 73 Sport Coupe...

$5,000 is a bit steep too, I don't classify that as cheap on a car nobody wants. wink

1974  Le Mans BBC 454 Needs Paint, willing to trade my car  Plus 5000 cash for a mid sixties to mid 70's muscle car finished.  Dont matter the make.

My car is a 1974 Pontiac lemans, looks like a GTO. I have all the original GM documentation, receipt, parts list, factory build sheet. It has a 454 chev with brand new Flowtech headers, and complete 3 inch dual exhaust. Brand new Turbo 400 transmission with a 2800 Stall. Has oil pressure and water gauges. The motor has 60 lbs oil pressure and is stock other than the edelbrock high rise intake and holly 750. It is a Southern car and is solid as a rock other than where the vinyl roof used to be and needs the paint freshend up. The interiour is also really good, buckets console car. No BBC in a 73-77 LeMans. Canadian cars got SBC 350 or 305(76 & 77) and the Pontiac 400 and 455. 400 was largest available in 1975 except Safari where a 455 was optional.

Reading the ad wording carefully I don't believe it's for sale for $5000?.
It says he'd trade his car plus the 5-thou for something else!.

Yes, now you guys got the ball rolling, reading and looking closer it is actually a Luxury LeMans,  nice interior extra chrome trim on trunk lid, used to have a landau roof etc....BUT ad says:

"1974 Pontiac lemans, looks like a GTO"

Hmmm, what GTO is that ?

I am sorry, nobody ever mistook a Luxury LeMans for a GTO BUT It would be nice to have that big engine to tool around with though, I hope someone grabs it, it's a good starting place.
