it is with sadness i have to announce the passing of another classic ponco,a victim of the glenrosa fire of 2009.a couple of shots of our house & before and after on the lemans.no.gif

Sorry to see that. Man if u could have been another 1/4 mile out u would have been  ok, by the looks of the pictures. Hope u got some sort of insurance for them. Still won't replace them or come close to the costs of playing with a classic.

hey,thanks for asking,if you check out the other pics in the post you'll get an idea of how close it was.we were away at the time but nobody that watched it go through expected the house to survive.anyway 7 months and $100,000(insurance,thak goodnes) later we're as good as new...don

yeah thanks at least we kept the house,moved back in 3 days later didn't even smell like smoke(but did have to replace roof,siding,windows,insulation,paint,landscaping,out building,etc,etc.)....don ps the house is just behind the flame front in the pic

sorry to take so long to get back,nope nothing on any of the 4 vehicles was any good,except the plow mounts and the rack off the truck....check out the streams of molten aluminum behind the '89 buick.100 grand will hardly put up a decent shop out here!
