rare 67 2dr wagon Chevelle / Beaumont

Since its a project, may as well take the next step and add the Beaumont dash and front trim.

Heres an opportunity that doesnt come along very oftena designer car with the metal work done for sale as a projectcheap. This is a one off 1967 Chevelle wagon designed by 35 year veteran designer Dave White and executed to its present state in the Studios at Gasoline AlleyThis car was to be a possible SEMA car for us a couple of years ago and got put on the back burner. Chevrolet built a 2 door wagon in 1964 and 65, but never in 1967. I have sold my warehouse and have no room to store it anymore. Our plan was to put a 502 injected crate motor with a 6 speed, Corvette suspension, dumped to the groundWe were going to graft a 1957 Nomad tailgate skin, so the dent in the tailgate wasnt repaired. There is also some minor rust repair left to do in the bottom of both front fenders (shown with green tape)one the size of a credit card, the other needs a patch panel because of an existing dent in the areaIf this small amount of bodywork bothers you, this is not the project for you..in fact, Im worried that someone will buy this car and be overwhelmedI would like to see it builtit deserves to be builtif you have no experience with building hot rods, this isnt for youif youre tired of the same old thing, this could be very exciting. The car started life as a 4 door wagon, 6 cylinder 3speed It could be built as a sedan delivery (the reason for a panel in one side to show you), or as we were going to build it, a wagon with dark tinted glass and 4 Lexus bucket seats and one piece door glass (as shown on the other side) it looks very sleek and almost chopped

The black areas have been stripped when the b pillar was moved to accommodate the extended length of the 2 dooreverything in black is epoxy, has been body worked straight, ready for blocking, then high build primer and blocking. The roof and anything in red needs strippingthe stripes are done as a rendering and could be measured and copied before sanding if you like themthey make the project in my opinion

Parts for these cars are plentiful and reasonable in price. This car needs everything, obviously and what parts come with the car is the rear original side glass and trim around it which doesnt fit any more of coursethat is it, if you dont see it, it is gonenothing used is the caliber of parts needed for a car of this caliberyou may think so, but get the thing painted, and used parts look crappythe bumpers were hung for the brackets only, obviouslyI hope you will call me with questions, which I will answer truthfullyIf youre worried about the scope of this project, then this isnt for youthousands have been spent already in design work and metalwork and rendering workyou get that for nearly freeDave 509-845-2230
