Chevy's Convertibles

The personal and private collection consists of 110+

Chevrolet convertibles ... all years from 1912-75 and

Corvette convertibles from 1953-75.

That is a Chevy convertible from every year of

manufacture EXCEPT 1939. The reason? Chevy didn't

make a convertible in '39 -- and ended its convertible

line in '75!

His 'boy toys' include his own 18-hole golf course,

copied somewhat after Augusta National.

He is what you call a REAL Chevy guy, but his passion

seems to be convertibles! This poor guy must barely

make ends meet! HA HA

This billionaire made his fortune selling farm chemicals!

Nice for him a as "collector" I guess.  However, I much sooner admire car enthusiasts like CP members who drive their passion,.. even if they only have 1 in the fleet".  I always enjoy seeing a nice 50s or 60s cruiser driving down the street in summer.  Walking past a parked car museum,... not so much.  Each to his own of course.

Someday those 110 plus cars will be up for sale!

My thoughts,.....If you've got it,.... drive it!
Interesting pic though,..thanks for posting.

Enjoy the ride while you can!
