It's a nice looker. Is the frame & floors good? Check it out underneath really close. This is an original flathead V8 car. Does it still have the original engine?

Nice car    looks good..
the front chrome and wheel ocvers are due for rechrome(big$$$)

and if you look hard, it seems the body is going to break out and need work.
I personally like your Pontiac better wink  for $18,000.00 difference, you could make the Pontiac REAL nice..   C2

Hello I just saw your post if this is a 1947 cadillac this is a very rare car.It is worth EVERY penny of 22,000.This car is worth ball park of 60,000-80,000 thousand (100 point restoration) this is the cadillac everyone wants. If you do anything buy it and re-sell it.You can get way more then 22,000 in the shape this car looks to be in you could flip fast.If this car is in the united stated you will not have a prob selling it.again this is a really rear car..Cadillac did not make alot of convertibles in a 1947 good luck...

Easy to buy. Hard to sell.

That is one of the main lessons I have learned in 60+ years of life.

Simple to put paint on an aging strumpet. Hard HARD HARD and expen$ive to fix old old old rotted body/frame

Get on your back, slide under the car, use a pin punch or semething to STAB at the frame where it looks rusted ...

Do not NOT NOT buy some other guy's problem ...

Unless you are a masochist smile.gif
