MSD 6AL on a chev 250 straight six

Hey there everyone. I am thinking of installing a MSD 6AL ignition box on my 78 Bel Air. I have had this stitting around because I was going to use it on my lemans that I am restoring, but decided against it because it dose not look stock, anyways would it be benificial to install this item on my completly stock B body, any possible risks or problems that I could run into? Thanks for your info guys!

No expert, but I can't see how it could be worth the trouble to install it on the mild 250. If she was pumped up then it would be a given since you own it anyway.

A 1978 250 six already has HEI and a large body distributor, so I don't think you'll gain anything.
