Hello, I'm Jim, I own a 1966 Pontiac Grande Parisienne 2dr ,factory 327/2spd and a 1966 Pontiac Grande parisienne 4door, factory 327/2spd...i'm just at the beginng stages of restoration and the 2 door is going to be first. the 4 door is a driver, with just 44,000 miles and 1 repaint. so i can still drive one and restore the other.Some may say i'm greedy having 2 cars..I personally feel I'm just obsessed, although thats not what my wife calls it. I just bought the 2 door from Winniepeg...so it'l be trucking across the prairies very soon, to it's new home on Vancover Island. Can't wait to drive her.
I'll let you know...I havn't driven it off the island yet...Coulson Aircrane may be cheaper or my own private barge...gotta love those ferries fairs.Went to Vancover 2 weeks ago and it cost $78.00 bucks each way for my wife and i in a car.I tryed to give them my first born but ...well you know..he loses so many of my tools they've already heard about him and said no..thought he would loose a bc ferrie or something.

Why not just float it over, scrap the ferry? All my life people have told me my Grande Parisiennes were boats...
My Grandfather had one. I'm sure there was 5 kids in the back and we still had room to dodge his backhand and that would end the wrestling match.
Jim as for your kid losing your tools......my son has my old Craftsman tool box and I buy him tools on his Bday and told him to stay out of my tools. I know I'm living in lala land, but I can dream
I'm glad to hear that Winnipeg car is headed to someone who wants it so bad. That tells me you will do something with it. It seemed that the lady who advertised it here wanted a true CP GP lover to get that car.
I love the colours and options on it. It will make a cool cruiser. Make sure you keep us updated.

Thanks for all the welcoming....nice to here from all of you...I'm hopeing to be cruzin around the 2 door by this summer,and for all of you short car lovers out there,just remember the did'nt name the Grande Parisienne the GTO'S big brother for nothing... power, and class..what more could a big kid want.
