Shameless self promotion

The radio station i'm an announcer on started online streaming today.  You can listen by going here.  I'm on air from 2 to 7pm Mon. to Fri. and every other Saturday morning 5 to 11am.  All of the announcers have blogs you can check out too in the on air personalities area.  You might not be a fan of easy listening music but if you know someone who is, pass along the link.smile

You handsome devil you!  (I took a look at the webssite and the on air guys.)  I'll definitely have to give it a listen.  I have been a volunteer DJ for a couple of rinky dink outfits but it has always been my fantasy to do that and share music I like especially since I have a deep sexy voice (yeah right)

Cool. I will try to listen when I get a chance. It will have to be on Saturday, and I can't this week. I hope to get at least a little bit of 327 work done in between kids basketball games.

OK, clocking in from Fort Myers FLorida, does that count for long distance? smile.gif

Sorry Randy, I had a listen, but I am more of a "Smoke On The Water" kind of guy.

Cool job, though! And I can tell you have time between songs to check Candian Poncho website, eh? (It now being the time of day you are on the air) smile.gif

Dave, thanks for checking it out. Honestly i'm a fan of early 90's grunge when i'm not at work. As radio announcers you don't mind the music you play, because you get paid to play itsmile

And yes this is my CP time, not much chance otherwisewink

I do listen to Easy 101 more often these days as I approach geezerhood age. That's when I don't have the SatelliteXM with me.

Cool stuff Randy! It's about time Easy 101 got online! I'm sure you'll get some far away listeners!

Can I change careers and come out and read the weather?

"Easy 101 weather for Oxford County and the surrounding area"..

See, I'm perfect for the job. biggrin

good stuff Randy. When i was in college i went out with a girl in the radio program and so now i know some people that work for 95.9 and other stations, looks like a fun job sometimes( I know theres more to it than just playin tunes) , and i remember going on the air with my girlfriend one night on the college station and playing all my fav tunes (and we had some fun in the booth too!!) LOL

Trevor which college? When i was going to Fanshawe they just opened the new media wing, all glass so people could see everything you did. We affectionately called it the fishbowl. One nice thing was the view as the girls walked by or waited for the elevator!

Shoot, I missed it! I had such bad cabin fever I went for a short walk (all the energy I could muster!) and checked the trap lines here on the ranch!

Thanks for thinking of me!
