Base clear is the norm.   easier to match and repair..     Best colors are Red- White -Yellow -Light blue..... no dark colors, unless you have chauffer

please don't pick a odd wierd color from a Lexus or such e.g.
plum nightmare mist or butterscotch swirlno

The registry is a pretty good resource to look for photos:

not sure of original colour where can this be found

the car looks nice red but I dont want the red. I still thinking of Granada gold even though they didnt make it in 66.

My painter wants to stay away from base/clear on these older cars

I would have to agree with ARCADIAN that Aztec Bronze is a very nice colour.

If you like a dark colour check out deep water blue, it is so dark it looks black from a distance.

It's a photo I took at the Bowness show and shine in Calgary last August.  Pretty nice car that lives in the Chestermere area just east of Calgary.  Not sure why it has BC plates.

Hmm, I know a 67 Nova SS with gold interior that would sure be cool as an SD327 a/c car......

I think the rocker trim is Nova as well as the trim behind the rear wheels. Just need to find the Acadian emblems and trunk trim.

Hmmmmmmmmm........

Anyway, bedtime in Manitoba!

RPadovan, as noted, the trim tag on your firewall will tell the original story. You never know, it may be an unusual combo that is worth redoing.
