The Bonneville was still for sale - I think by this owner - back about 10 years ago not only in the Canadian Old Car Trader but also in other publications like Deals on Wheels. But it was for a lot more $$ - somewhere around $18K as I recall.  I had planned to go look at it one time when in Alberta but decided not to as I figured it was too pricy at the time and therefore I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

I remember this ad for the 65 Impala 409 but don't know anything about the car.

A buddy of mine had a 65 "409" 4-speed car, it would've been the early 90's I think, I can't remember lots about it though. Could've been the same car I guess, how many of them do you see? I recall he traded an SS454 Chevelle for it, and the chevelles motor had been replaced with a healthy 350.

I have one here printed in 1988 with a white 1974 Pontiac Transam 455 SD in eastern Ontario for sale for 2500$ !!! It might very well be the car CdnRoundPort bought recently ?

That 65 would be 1 rare car, not too sure the 425hp 409 was factory though, I think 400hp was the biggest 409 in 65, easily upgraded with the dual 4 manifold, 425hp was 396 for 65 only. None the less what a car, I only wish......wink
