looking for the rectangular trunk emblem 'ACADIAN' from a 65 beaumont.not the full width plaque from an SD or custom, but from a base Beaumont.or any other similar sized acadian emblem,like the one pictured.The proper one for my wagon is a 'wagon only' emblem ,so I doubt Ill find the exact one.Thanks ,Chris
I think I have one on my tool box at home (calgary), I'm heading there on the 11th of March for a week.. so I hope to work on the SD for a day or two.. I'll let you know.
Kelly, if you find an extra 65 SD trunk emblem I would love to buy it from you. They look the same as the dash one but they are curved on the back to fit the trunk lid. thanx
will do Kev. I've never noticed a difference in them actually. my book doesnt show a different part number either, but I'll try to verify. I know that all the castings arent exactly the same, some end up a little thinner, some still have some "flash" on the edges, and I'm sure it's due to the molds not being exactly same either. probably casting 30 at a time.
cool.. I'll take a look at the ones I've got on my car. so far all I see is the 876 numbers.. learn something new all the time. the 973 is what is supposed to be all around the car from the parts book info that I have. So the 876 numbers may be the ones for the canso no? it's really bizarre.
