I realize that this is a very old post. If you still have not found a hood, please keep in mind that 57 Canadian and 57 American hoods are very different in length. They sure look exactly alike but the Canadian hood is much shorter in length. Just like the front fender are shorter on our cars. My understanding is that you only going to find a good solid 57 Canadian Pontiac hood out west. B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan and that is about it. They are notorious for rust in the front corners because the water would just sit in the corners on the inside of the hood and rust it out. Good luck and look out for poor repairs to the front corners. George.

John have you checked to see if Steve still has the hood? Quebec is a lot closer than the western provs where the more solid body parts usually are. All of the solid stuff i have ever seen was B.C. and Alberta for the most part. Sorry i can not help you brother but wishing you the best of luck with you search. Much if not all of the molding clips is the same as Chevrolet for those years. Any Classic Chevy supply place sells the clips. 55-56-57 Chevrolet clips are the same. I restored my 1957 Pontiac useing 1957 Chevrolet clips and no problem. Cheers. George.
