console wiring

I bought a different beaumont harness that did not have a console but I have a console. So far I see a orange and white wire that goes to console that turns into orange white and yellow there is also a gray wire which I know is lights.I am guessing that the pink and green from the harness go for reverse lights. My question is what is the orange and white for. This is for a 1967 Beaumont SD.

Just wondering where you were able to buy a Beaumont SD wiring harness?

the GM Canada shop manual for your 67 Beaumont should have the wiring diagrams including the console.   My 1970 manual has the wiring diagrams including the console for my 2+2.

I am going by memory but pretty sure that orange and white go to the switch for the light in the console compartment.

Oh, and yes, pink and green for b/u lamps.

Orange & white are "usually for the interior light circuit", Orange is "hot" all the time & white goes to ground [or "earth" if your British] through door switches or manual switch!!! Could take power from orange to console light,as well. Purple is "usually the starter circuit, & light green B/up lamps!!  Now my head hurts from bringing all this from the "storage bank"

There is a guy on Vancouver Island called the Tin Man he is a Beaumont collector/auto wrecker. He sold me really good stuff at reasonably prices. No web site just a phone number.
