1931 Pontiac radiator cap needed

I hope I am posting this in the correct place, if not I'm sure you will survive! :p

I am in need of a 1931 Pontiac rad cap, the one on my 31 has always been broken and in rough shape, if anyone know of any of these that still have the feathers on the back of his head and are not pitted nd broken I would be very interested.

I have one for you. Send me an email, and I'll send you pictures. I also have an owners manual that is in good condition, except for a missing page out of the center.
Make me an offer I can't refuse.

I got my new cap the other day, had to try it on, it looks so different to me, I was so used to the old broken one!

So I took the car to Wetaskiwin for a cruise and to see my aunt as she passed through from South Dakota to Vancouver, after our visit i got a whole block and broke an axle... WHEEEE!

Good thing it's a light car, because I had to push it up hill to a parking lot and then find a ride home to get my truck and trailer, but I have it home now and I have 4 spare axles, so hopefully this will be an easy fix.

I got so busy I never updated this...

Mu dad and I pulled the axle and stub out, cleaned everyting and put in one of my spare axles, pretty straight forward.

the old axle was broken in the dead center, I've never seen that before, and it appears to have been half broken for a very long time.

And i was able to put a lot more miles on trouble free after that!

And I drove her all the way into the first snow fall this winter.

(Don't worry, this was just snow, no salt)

She is a beauty Ryan! Nice to see someone else on the site with a 30's ride. (Please tell me you have it away for the winter now...)

Unfortunately I have it at home still in the snow, but it's clean snow with no salt or dirt in it... drove it a few times in the stuff and had a blast, but as soon as the salt.sand when down I kept her home.

Every year when I go to put her in storage for the winter I take her to a hangar at a tiny grass strip airport down the road from me (in the company of Pierce Arrows, Rolls Royces and other cool cars) and every year the day I got to take her there she dies and will not run, this has happened every year for 8 years now, this time the starter seems to have packed it in, even though tit is a fresh rebuild...

Tell me about your 30's rides, I love that sort of thing!

As far as I can recollect, there are 4 of us with 30's cars. Rog has a '33 Chev coupe and JC has a model A. Then there are you and myself. Anyone else that I'm forgetting?
