the wheels at the top..could almost be hubcaps? you could buy a set of 'cragar chrome hubcaps' back in the day. Reason I hint at this , is because there seems to be no offset on the rims. they appear flush at the spoke?

cool pic though,, I would love to know the history??

I am sure that is an aftermarket cap from the 60's era Fred. I think I remember seeing the ads for them in Car Craft and such.

Total squirrel wagon. There were a lot of cars on the east coast that were "customized" like this back in the day. A coupla paychecks spent at the accessory dept of CTC or similar store and voila, you could turn the nicest car into a trashy lookin ride like this.

It was off a French Canadian classic car website.
In the thread they were debating whether there was a Parisienne "SS". One guy on the site is convinced he owns one, with the "SS" badging inside & out ... : )
