How do I call up an older thread?

Wanted to view an older thread concerning a stolen car and trailer.
Entered " stolen trailer" into the search window and it told me there was a topic in the Lounge as a sticky. When I tried to call it up I got a message to the effect that it couldn't be found.
How do I view this thread?

Is it the COPO Camaro? I see what you mean. I assume it has been deleted since the car was found, but I can't explain why the title still shows when you search it.

Yep thats the one.
I was going to refresh my mind before posting a stolen trailer with a car in it.
Seems a 36' enclosed trailer containing a 1925 Studebaker was stolen in the Niagara-On-the-Lake area.
Seemed very similar to the COPO Camaro incident. They stole the truck and trailer most probably not knowing what was in it.
They wanted the truck and trailer and hoped it contained something they could use or fence.
Antique cars aren't much use to them as they are instantly recognizable and traceable.

If I remember correctly the Camaro owner had a good idea where the unit went and was able to, behind the scenes, negotiate to get the car back.
