Headed out after practice, disappointing show to me anyway but I did see some things to take photos of. The show has become R rated, lots of barely dressed young women posing and bumping and grinding. I have lots of photos of that but here are few of cars, hard to find a Canadian Poncho there though.

Like the "almost black" 55 CHEBBY GASSER  That's what I hope to have the 52 look like when I'm done, or close to it, MAYBE, COULD BE, you know!!!!

that cabover GMC car carrier is from trenton about 5 miles from me and the light green ford wagon is from carrying place about 10 miles from here he is also a good friend of mine,he is a very talented auto restorer.

Yeah thanks for the pictures Ray, great variety there. Dave won't like my comment but those Caddy tailights are destined for the Caddy. Sort of chuckle to have a VW dune buggy in there with the rest of those cars.

I take pics of cars I think are interesting, I'm glad they strike a chord with guys on board.

I am really getting into the 32 Ford Hot Rods. You can buy a brand new rolling chassis with body and grill suround for $7,800. That Canadian Pontiac powered one was nice from Quebec, it's a 348.

We spent a bit of time looking at that 68 SS too Fred. It was really nice. The Model No. 13837, does this denote an SS ?

Looks like number 986 down the line for 68.

Thats what I thought because that was a popular body style and I figured that there was way more than 1,161 made but now I see that this is just 1,161 SS's.

And those pictured here are on a Buick, about 1953 vintage, not a Caddy, eh? smile.gif

Cool photos Ray, thanks - and I'm with you on the 1932 Fords, love 'em, I set out to build one but when I priced it all out, I would have about $35,000 into it without paint and upholstery (low-cost crate SBC, nothing fancy) - I will have my 56 Poncho done for half that with built BBC ... always gotta consider the finances ...

Agreed! I wonder if 57 side trim would work on my 56? I sure like that rocket-ship styling on the 57's. Painted silver inside, with the rest of the car black, ooooh. Of course finding 57 Laurentian side trim complete and undamaged would be a miracle.

I wasn't paying that much attention, sorry. It had a huge round black air cleaner with an orange dome if that helps.
