That's what I thought too. Did he ever tell you it was in a magazine at one time?

All it says is that it has a 327, no hp rating or mention of L79

That 65 is the same car Kelly and I saw in abbbotsford, he's had it since 1966, and he did mention it being in a magazine. Neat car.

Actually, I don't want to buy it. The color is not my taste and I would probably have to pay too much for it anyway. You have too many now also!!

The top 68 was Frank Safonovs first 68 SD (had two very similar looking). Original 350 HP stick car, drivetrain long gone...
It was around WPG for years, Steve Mikkelsen also owned it for a while. I recall it had a hurt motor sometime after that.

Can't say too much more, have a friend that has been trying to buy it as a roller.

Hmmm, Steve Mikkelson-that sounds like the name of the guy that had my deepwater blue 67 SD in Winnepeg two owner's prior to me.

Yup, Same guy,
He's had three SD cars that I recall... and a string of big block Chevys.

I was with him the day he knocked on the door to buy the 67... Good Times!
