I remember as a kid looking at the match box display case in a hobby store and wanting the purple colour 60 Pontiac. The one that was in the box was yellow and they would not sell the purple display one to me.

I have the yellow one in a box somewhere in the basement.
You know not to be melancholy but my son said to me the other day, "Dad, look at all the neat stuff Hillar has in his house", among other things Hillar was a huge yellow diecast collector, "What good is it, he's dead." he said. Interesting insight.
