Chevelle or Beaumont 12 bolt Axles Wanted 68-72

I'm looking for a set of 12 bolt axles locally for the 68-72 year. The housing decodes as a 69 chevelle so that's what it's for. They are 30 1/8" long and are 31 splined I think. That's what the book said. Oviously I want them close to avoid shipping and the bearing surfaces need to be nice. I will look outside my area on Vancouver Island but I hope to get them locally. Thanks, Paul.

Any axles from 68-72 A-body Chevy 10 or 12 bolt will fit but finding a good set is next to impossible. Do yourself a favor and get a pair of Moser axles and never worry again. Don't cheap out get good axles.

And the Moser ones are not that bad in price, especially with our current exchange rate.

It's more urgent to get these now. We pulled the axles and changed the ratio back to the 3:31 from 4:10's. The axles were completely hooped. Lots of pitting and big grooves. There's no way to save the old ones. Mosers seem like the way to go. I wonder what the total damage will be? I'll give them a call today. As a bonus I think my heater core is hooped too. AHHH!! I need to find a aftermarket for that too. Anybody know about the availability?

Thanks Jerry, but I ended up with Moser axles. With dollar right now the price was right. Are your axles for the 68-72 or the 65-67? I bought a new 68-72 set 30 1/8". I think the 65-67 ones are 29 5/16".

Thankyou for responding but I bought a new set. Somebody else might want them and you should put them under the for sale section with a price.
