Any members here needing an old AB license plate. I came across a handful of my fathers old plates. Look to be from 68 on? Let me know the year you may be looking for and I'll dig in. (Free to homes of good Poncho members.)

I know someone who would like that if you had it. I saw you said 68 on, but just in case.....
I'll see if I can wrangle one out of my sister. (She took them both as it was her birth year.) I'll let you know...

I would like a single of any year for the mancave aka da bar area :)
mike.
Easy to accomodate! Do you have a preferred color scheme in Manland?
Just thinking out loud, is your Poncho a '75, and would those be the plates you would prefer if we have them?

I'm trying to remember when Alberta started using multiple year plates. I think each year had it's own plate until 73, and 74 used a sticker on the 73 blue plate. Then in 75 we got the yellow plates that didn't have a year on them the first year, then 76 used stickers on the yellow plate. We had the yellow plates until the white ones in 83 I think.

If you've got a set of 1970's I'll take them.
I'll double check...

Yeah that's my recollection too as to when Alta started using stamps. They had individual year plates up to and including 1972, which is when they stopped making interesting cars in any case. (That should should liven up this thread!)
1974 was last year for single-year plates in Florida - part of across-US trend - and I agree with you about boring cars since then (with very few exceptions)
