I've got a lifter that won't pump up on my 468BB which has about an hr and a half on it.My question is:Is it possible to just exchange it out for a new one?Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you soak them in oil before install? I was going to suggest changing just that one, but its as much effort to change all of them what brand are they?
You can change one but do you know which one it is ? Some of the old big blocks had pressure problems in the upper rail, hopefully thats not the problem
The title of this thread sounds like the name of a Rolling Stones album...

The motor was rebuilt here in Calgary at a reputable engine builder. And yes I do know which one it is and it just so happens to be #8 exhaust.Getting it out is a cinch- out through the distributor hole.I take it that that is my only option short of changing them all. Thanks guys, and now I know what I'm doing this weekend.
