Car Show Pictures

I took the Beaumont to a show in Myrtle Beach S C last weekend and thought I would share a few pictures. The weather was great show weather, sunny with low 70s high temperatures. There were almost 2500 cars registered. For a big show that is put on by a small local car club it was very well organzed. The first group of pictures are of the beach and hotel. The 2nd group is from the show. There are over 600 pictures from the show. Enjoy.

Hey, those are great pictures! I was wondering if anyone could name every car by year, make, and model? I know I sure can't. Think I would be lucky to get half of them right.

love the 66 427 car. Can anyone verify that there was only one made?
actually.. love all the cars, and it looks like it was a great day for a car show.

thanks for sharing

The 66 427 Chevelle was supposed to be a dealer conversion. The guy had paperwork to support the conversion but there is no way to verify the 1 of 1 claim. With all the dealerships that were doing conversions in the 60s there is a good chance that there were other 66 convertibles that were done.

Great variety - rods, customs, tri-fives, muscle, pretty much everything.

Do you have an impression of how many "for sale" signs? 10%? or ... ?

Did you happen to find out if the owner fabricated the cover between the top of the radiator and the grille on this car, or what?

And -- gotta love motor overkill, eh?

Dave, theres a 55 Chevy near me in Port Perry, that the owner used another front part of a 55 hood to cover this area, It'is so cool to open the hood & see another section of hood there!!!!   pete

This is a long shot but do you happen to know my friend Rocky B. from Greensboro? He was there and emailed me a picture of your car! He likes the Beaumonts and thought he'd impress me showing me one I hadn't seen laughing.gif

I had to email him back and tell him I had seen lots of you and your car on this site!

I don't know anyone name Rocky. What cars does he have? I may have seen him or his car at shows.

Here is a link to his "GTO" wagon (hopefully)

His mother in law lives about an hour from me in Winnipeg so we usually get to see him at least once a year. The conversation always turns to Beaumonts!
