vortec head #


i was cleaning out this garage today , found a set of vortec heads with the number 14102198  can anyone identify  tks 65s/d

I do not think they are Vortec heads. All the vortec truck heads I've had started with a 125.   The 141 numbers are usually 1980's heads. Count the bolt holes where the intake manifolds bolt to the head. Vortec heads only have 4 holes. Earlier heads have 6. I also checked mortec and did not see that number listed.

I checked Mortec again and if the last number is a 3 they are mid 80's 305/350 heads.

yes you guys are right 6 bolts to the intake it has      GM 17  on the inside   and two straight up lines on the one end of the head  they are new style valve covers
