Hello all! I've been without a beast for 5 years due to life/kids/farm,etc.. but am currently on the hunt again-a 59 or 60 longroof. I think the last pontiac I owned was a 78 grand safari and a 67 Laurentian -nothing overly memorable. Anyway, any leads on said vehicles would be greatly appreciated, and good to be on board. Wow, I leave for a turkey dinner and get 3 replies- what a friendly bunch over here! Thanks for the welcome, and again, any 59 longroofs around, I'd love to hear about them.
Welcome to the forum, I'm new here too. I like the feel of this group, they are pontiac nuts but they are open to hear about other brands if you post it in the appropraite place. I've already ask for and been given good advise here.
I seen some wagons around here, Trail. I've heard the guy is selling stuff so I'll check it out. One that I've seen for sure is a 59 chevy Impala, I thinks that's what it is, has the same side trim as an impala.
Hi there from Tacoma, WA. This 1960 wagon was in the body shop Aug, 2008. Much restoration work was done on the body at the time. Owner has all the parts for it. If you are interested PM me and I will give you the info to reach this guy. I haven't talked to him since. Car was in Lacey, WA. See pictures of car in attachment.
welcome aboard Have you lived in Armstrong long? The reason I ask is that I was raised in Armstrong and that is where I got my Beaumont back in 1980.
Weve been here for 6 years now-brought out a young family and built a poultry farm as dad retired. I finally have the shop built, finished, andv ready to refuel my love of longroofs I sold off to move here! I'm actually down in Snohomish next week looking at a 59 Pontiac, so possibly soon.
Out of interest, if the Pontiac purchase turns out to be a non Canadian model, does that limit my involvement on this site somehow? I certainly dont want to be breaking some unspoken rule here.
WELCOME, WE ARE ALL CAR GUYS HERE, NO SUCH RULES AS TO CANADIAN ONLY THAT I AM AWARE OF. CANADIAN PONTIAC CARS ARE JUST OUR COMMON LINK. A COOL CAR IS A COOL CAR NO MATTER THE BRAND OR ORIGIN.

Thanks for the lead, bu its gotta be a pontiac I think. Its funny though, my brother lives a stones throw from me and has that same model/year that he bought in Peachland 4 years ago. I have been in contact with another guy from Oliver that is clearing out his wagon collection-has a few pontiacs-maybe its the same guy?
Welcome. Mine was built in the states still allowed here (get some feathers rilled up sometimes though) Good luck on finding a wagon. Pretty cool when done properly! Again welcome.
