No one should laugh at that car.At least there will be no surprises,if the floors and frame are in good shape half the battle is won.If I had the space I'd love to have a project like that ,but isn't that always the case.Nice car keep us posted on your progress. There is a guy in BC called the Tin Man that you might want to call for parts I just delt with him, he sold me some hard to find parts and his prices where good.
Yes it is a 67.The floors are good, one small hole in truck.Came with all the parts, also new fenders,dr skins are on,also new rear quarters, back inner wheel wells and drops, glass etc. Will be starting it in about 2 weeks, sandblasting then get some welding done, baby steps as the money rolls in.

Did you notice not one person laughing or telling you to give up???!!!
I think this group has a very good understanding of project cars. If someone shows up here and they are in way over their head or working on a project that just doesn't make sense (i.e. low value with no sentimental attachment, etc etc) they normally gentle suggestions that maybe it's not money well spent.
In your case, GET AT IT!!!!

Thanks everyone for the reassurance.I havent built one in shape for for at least 30yrs,kinda has me nervous, but after a few beers it keeps looking better.lolIm thinking of going with the Mcgyvers front clip with disc brakes and manual steering rack etc.then subframe connectors, mini tubbed with 9"diff and 373 posi?Might complete it with the 4link?Probably a 383 stroker or 406 stroked to about 525hp.It has automatic, but I also have the standard pedals, just not sure which way to go?I like the 5sp,but I have a habit of blowing up trannys haha.or as this pic shows gas is cheap and I get about 2 COORS down in a 20yd push.
