depending on the shape of the car 20K is a fair asking price for any convertible.

You can ask what ever you want. kijiji is full of overpriced dreamers. People that figure it cost nothing to advertise, so why not ask too much? Now actually selling it is a different matter.

Certainly no question as to the better value between the two. If the seller of the 68 happens to take offense to me saying that, I'm afraid it's reality.

Supply and demand. If a numbers 67 SD 396 convert struggles to get 23K, it's long proven demand for a "lesser" car sure shouldn't come close to that figure.
