Classic car Insurance for under 25?

Are there any companies I am missing here that would give me a reasonable quote and price?
I follow all of the criteria for classic car insurance Except the big one (I am under 25)
These are some of the responses I am getting. I will document all of my quotes, and then send it to the car insurance folks and PM's and tell them why people drive without insurance.biggrin

Bel Air Direct - Car is too old
Lant Insurance- No, I am under 25
Hagerty- No, I am Under 25
Silver Wheels- No I am under 25/ Call back in 6 years
TD- Car is too old
State Farm- Broker said too much
Mass Insure- Was ready to put me through for classic car insurance at 180 a year, and then realized I was too young. Thought I was 30 on the phone even when I gave date of birth. Was funny conversation, until he said I will have to cancel the policy.
Dalton Timmis- Deals with Silver wheels, No.
Zehr Insurance - No, Yes- Unknown?
Hubbard Brokers- Unknown- still waiting for call
Haber Blain Insurance- 10 000
RBC- $8000 A year
CAA- $454 a month
Whetter Oaklin- $13000 a year

I don't understand why some companies can't let it slip.
I told them I just want it for the summer time, and I have a daily driver in which I pay 4000 a year for that. Record is clean too.

I guess at the age of 25, they send you a big box of driving knowledge or something.

Why don't you just transfer ownership to your mother of both cars.

Well its just the Riviera I am having the problem with. They said even if I transfer it, I can't drive it because the policy won't cover anyone under 25.

You would have to transfer both since to qualify for silver wheels etc... there has to be a regularly driven car.

First of all, how many accidents have you ever had?

An insurance company can't tell you you can't drive the car because you can. What they are saying is that coverage is not in effect if you are driving it. I know it seems like an odd point to make BUT check and see if liability insurance is in effect regardless of who is driving. This is what is important to make sure you are covered if someone is injured. Who cares about damage to the car, you would just have to accept.

Ya, she has her own daily driver.

But all the actual quotes listed above, were for liability only Thats all I wanted if I couldn't get classic car insurance, but those premiums are wayyyy to high.

My record is clean, no tickets no accidents, knock on wood.

WOW what a joke

Zehr- Can't give it to me.
RBC- 9000 a year, said I have it under my moms name and as a secondary driver, its 5000 a year.

This is an utter joke. And they want to wonder why people drive without insurance hahahaha.

Crooks, and scam artists, thats what the system is.

Is it only for the US though? I keep getting US site and numbers.

Got of the phone with Zehr,  First they say they could get me insurance 400 a year. So they say get an appraisal and some things fixed and its good to go.
So When I call back, 1 month later. They say, "ohh, policy is now changed. You have to be atleast 23 now" What kind of crap is that. Just change something like that.

The insurance company I am with for my Crown Vic. Says " The Riviera is too old to insure". Ya.. well.. "your too ugly to look at" hows that. hahaha
