This car was for sale on Vancouver Craigs list a few months back. If I remember correct it was a 307 car.

I think the car sat in a parkade for 15 years and the guy who bought it rebuilt the motor and tranny all #s matching car. I will find out more on the car.

Ok, so I have a question about fair value for a car like this. There is a local car here that is much the same condition. It has had one repaint , and dual exhaust ,
and rallies addded. It is a low mileage car, something like 37 k . Anyways , what is the value of something like this??? I suggested to him $8500 this week for his car. He won't come out and say what he wants , but in a round about way hinted at 14 g.
I hopin to get pics this week....

Well I know one went for 10gs just a week ago I think it was in the same condition.
Ten years ago I bought a 68 post and in good condition for 6Gs.... the price has gone up and i think around 9g  to 11g  is fair.... just my two cent.

The story is the guy who owned the car had some problems with the brakes so he stored in an under ground parkade for around 12 years. Bert bought the car from him and rebuilt the motor and tranny and did the body work skins on the rear and new paint.I talked to Bert and he would like to sell so if anybody is interested his e mail is jva1@shaw.ca and is located in aldergrove.

That colour is a stock 1968 beaumont colour. Remember that in the U.S you could get Chevelles in 15 colors while in Canada you could get Chevelles & Beaumonts (& other Canadian-built GM cars) in 18 colours. That Burnished Saddle colour was sourced from the U.S. Buick paint pallet.

In around 1996 in Pickering Ontario I saw a 1968 Pontiac 2+2 coupe in wearing those colours, plus a 2-tone on the roof. Actually the car was with the original elderly owners at the time. It was Burnished Saddle with Grecian Green 2-tone on the roof (horrors!) and had the same lime-gold interior colour as on that Beaumont above. The car was tired but worth fixing up. That colour scheme on the car though, likely 1-of-a-kind, looked absolutely awful. It was a 327 TH400 car.
