I have decided to sell my 1960 Pontiac Star Chief. It is a US model from Texas with the 389 engine and 4 speed hydramatic transmission.

This car is solid. The engine was professionally rebuilt in 2009 with some upgrades (30 overbore, flat top pistons). The transmission was serviced with new seals and filter in 2009 as well. It was repainted a three years ago and has a few minor blemishes due to it being a daily driver.

Front brakes were upgraded to disc in 2009 with a dual master replacing the original single master cylinder. I have a new front bumper that needs to be installed (the original is still solid but showing it's age) and various other parts that will go with the car.

3 point seat belts were added to the back seat and I have a pair for the front but haven't installed them yet. It does have regular lap belts up front.

Everything works in the car including the original AM radio, heater, wipers, gauges, etc. and it starts every time.

Listed at $18,000 (less than what I have into it) but is negotiable.
