Hey all, remember we had the discussion a few months ago that they built sd ta's in 1973, and a few of you shot me down? 73 t/a 455 sd auto with ac 1 0f 252, and a 73 455 sd formula 1 of 43 no $$ but here is the link cbjeep.com or e mail at dennis@cbjeep.com I hate it when I'm right. Still trying to negotiate the 73 sd clutch car for my stable that I posted a few months ago.
nice 455 SD, too bad it has a 400 in it XD block?? what gives? another thing is the 16 head wasn't used on the 455 till 74? yet they are date stamped 72.
the car serial matches the block serial #,, I wonder if they got some of their pics mixed up???
carb that they say is on it is for a 79?
am I missing something??

I honestly don't recall this contoversy. I think I posted the some 73 SD cars at one point. Engines were rated at 310 net HP in 73 I believe, 290 net HP in 74.
I can not find the original topic. Can anyone else?

I always thought the SD head in 73 was a 16. What did they use?
