A friend of mine dropped this by today. It was sitting for about 20 years up in the rafters of an old shed on his farm.He has no idea what its from. Can anybody tell me if this is the right visor for my 54.I know i can buy a mount kit on ebay for a 54 chevy that should work for my car as well.

This sunvisor is for prior 53 because the centre bracket, it's for a 2 piece windshield. I'll have to look at mine to compare, but I think it is adaptable easily for a one piece windshield if you buy the roof bracket and make something to connect the sunvisor to.

For sure it is for a sedan due to the side bracket, and those bracket as to be bolt inside the water...or the rain....... I don't know how to tell in english (sorry), not outside.

I came across two of these visors today and was pretty happy till i tried one on a 53.
Turns out its a couple inches short. One of them was on a 52 pontiac chieften.

Looks very similar to the one sitting in my garage.
Yes, pre 53.

I think it would fit 49 to 52 cars.
