just wondering if anybody is going to the big show at plunkets this summer? If any members here are i was wondering if we could get together at my house real quick for a photo shoot after the show(you usually have to get there really early from what ive heard) or anytime that is good. I really want a photo of as many cars as possible so that i have it for mexico, and i just think it would be cool. My wife is the one who thought of it!!
your more than welcome to stay the night if you wanted to head out really early. I hope i can have the 59 on the road for that show. I talked to plunket today for a second as i dropped something off for him (he was just leaving in his 73? maybe brown eldorado) and he said that on the thursday before the show when he has the normal cruise in, some of the celebs are coming in early and will probally be there. He also said he wants to see my car in person, not just the tattoo on my arm which he gets a kick out of.
All cars have to be 25 years or older this year. I hope to get the 67 Mustang up an running in time. Barrie swap meet is on the same weekend and I really should go vend some parts.
I hope to go - trying to decide between it (I've been there twice) and the 2 day show in Truro NS the same weekend, which I've never attended. Has anyone here been to the Truro show - and how is it?
The only advice that anyone can give you is earlier the better. I have arrived a couple times at 10am with no problem and at 8 with the better spots gone(shade) . The show is always very well attended and it gets better organized every year. If you have a two hour drive then leaving at 6/7am would be advisable. I really hope you can make it ,love to see your car.
if anybody wants to come in the night before we have a spare room so dont hesitate to ask. like unburt said, i would leave real early. Are you comeing thru sarnia? sometimes its also quicker to use the sombra ferry.
I am going on Saturday. The flyer says the gates are open at 7:00 so I would like to get there early. Is anyone else from my area going early that may want to travel together on Saturday? I would love to go Thursday and Friday but it's too far to go back and forth. Anyone with room for a trailer or is there trailer parking at the show?

car wont be there this year (yes i have a little tear rolling down my face) but i would love to go still. I was wondering if i could come with one of you fine gentlemen as i know the wife wont want to go and she needs the car. If so just call me at 519-435-1569. People pay big money to get mud bathes. Should you really deny your car the chance of getting one for free?
