Help with a part number.

Does anybody have an American B-body book that they can look in and tell me what this part will fit?  PART # 479812 GROUP # 7.833.  It's advertised as a rear valance support strap for a '70 Cat or Bonny.  Wondering if it would work for the 2+2?  My Canadian manual lists a different part # for '69 and '70.  Thanks!

I have a parts book that does only one year (70) of Bonneville, Catalina and Executive. It lists the part just as you say.

I have 3 different publications that cover the Canadian versions (58-70, 62-70, 70-72) and not one of those lists that part number so I think you are out of luck, sorry.

Thanks for the info Carl.  I was afraid of that, but was hoping with some of the parts that are shared between the 2 years it might be a possibility.

I am thinking it won't fit because there is quite a difference in the frame design between the two models.

plus the 70 rear valance is different between the US and Cdn cars.  One of the differences is the 70 Cdn rear valance has "scallops" above where the exhaust exits.  I think Carl is right, the frame differences are also likely a cause for concern.
