That was a complete and utter embarassment. Sure we all knew the Canuck were not a Cup contender but to absolutely give up like that at home, that performance was a slap in the face of all hockey fans. I wanted to watch a good exciting game and all I got was a bunch of quitters going through the motions. I'm angry about that, most of those guys don't deserve anyone's respect after that. no

No laughing at the Leafs anymore after two years in a row of disgraceful playoff departures like that. That performance was so bad you can't even laugh at them. I sort of feel sorry for Canuck fans, the best home record in the league and this?

Luongo kept them in it for the 1st period. The nuks seemed to want to go down as they kept setting up Chicago on breakaways? Not impressed with them either way. Time to rebuild. Keep choking in the playoffs.

Took the Dog for a quick walk between the 1st and 2nd period and when I got back it was 2-0, I thought the 1st seem to be alright but the rest of the 2nd and 3rd where bad. 2 games in a row with just defense scoring, What's up with that??? Rebuild time ???

That game may have been embarassing but that happens so often in sports.  Lots of series are close right to a deciding game and more often as not the deciding game is a blow out.  I remember a few years ago when Colorado was strong they came to a seventh game and got blown out by 6 or 7 goals.  That's just sports, that's not a bunch of quitters or anything disgraceful.  Everyone wants an exciting game every night but that's not the way it works.  I've been in tons of games where I knew in the first 10 or 15 minutes we were going to upset somebody or we were going to get upset.  It's a strange thing and lots of times there is not one thing you can do about it even if Scotty Bowman is coaching you.  As far as the Canucks being contenders I still think they had as good a chance to advance as anybody who made the playoffs.  In my mind anybody could have beaten anybody so that leaves them as good a chance as anyone.  Now after seeing the results of what's happened so far I think I was pretty close to being right on.When they put a few of their strings together this year they were both good and exciting, unfortunately after the Olympics they never really got rolling again like before.  Everyone gets injuries but one guy they really missed was Willie Mitchell, he would have had some impact of clearing out players in front of the net.  I look at it as a year where they provided a ton of great entertainment and sure I would have liked to seem them go further no big deal.  Chicago has an exciting team with lots of B.C. boys so will be interesting if they can put a string of games together and like you say about Montreal I think it may well be destiny.  Should be lots of good hockey yet.  And good luck to your Maple Leafs, hopefully they can turn it around and enjoy some of this playoff action.
