I built a fence ..sort of...

so, things finally came together,  this has been in the works for a year ! contract signed, permits filled out , 40 pine trees removed , 20 hours of bobcat work....

I had a storage shed built ! 30 x 40 x 12 .  It is just for dry cold storage, no concrete, no power.  I went 12' tall so an RV can be parked in it. figured that would be a bit of a resale feature ,  not many people like a big shed in their back yard...!!

this is one of the first projects that I've done where I just stood back and signed the cheque !  the pics are over 2 1/2 days . overhead door guy comes tomorrow !!

now to fill er up !

I always wondered why they call them "Pole Barns", now I know why.  Poles are planted into the ground, tied together then sheathed.

that's basically it , the new wave of these use a laminated post, they use a 2 x 6 that is laminated/gang nailed 4 wide. gives you a post that is 5 1/2 " x 6" stronger and cheaper, only the bottom 6' has to be treated . NO twisting over time. like a dimensional post would do.

pretty easy construction, 5 days start to finish.
