56 Laurentian Body Work

Here are a few pic's of the 56. Just some minor issues. One shot you can see filler where a dent was repaired. Very solid body with only a few very small issues. I'll post some fender/hood shots later.

Yes an original Alberta car still in Alberta. Sold new at Stampede Motors Ltd in Calgary.  It was the 163 one built of the 640 produced.  Production date was March 28, 1956 and the shipping date was March 29, 1956.  V8, 2 speed, power steering car.  I really like it!!

Hi there. Just found this web site, and what a joy it is!! Im restoring a 56 Laurentian over here in England, and theres not alot of info or back up over here. Your car is looking good, and i'll watch your progress with interest. Mines a four door sedan, that was shipped to Ceylon (Sri Lanker) from the factory, so its right hand drive, much better for me over here. I'll post some pics soon.
Thanks TIM.....

Welcome here. Pics would be great. It's neat to have guys showing up from other countries with the Canadian cars.
