What are these Tubes (Buick Related)?

I tried to clean out the trunk of my car today, but was wondering what these tubes are and where they are going to. They are near the right quarter panel.
However, The gas tank is located in the rear. So any idea what these are? I am also trying to find them in the manual.

Thanks, Mike

I believe that would be the gas tank vent.

I believe you are right. There is no image of it in the manual.

And only a brief description. I think it describes it as, from the manual "inverted ushaped pipe extending from the front right corner of the tank and is fastened to the body"
Doesn't say much more.

I was just curious on that hole you see in the pic, now what would the best way of going to fix it. What is that "bushing"/cap called that the tube comes out off? are the tubes removable or not now?

I am guessing now, the best is obviously get out the tubes, and replace with clean sheet metal. Now, the gas tank should be removed as well, I am assuming to be on the safe side.

So basically best bet is to wait until I get space, and can strip the car.wink One thing leads to anotherbiggrinwink
