Great progress. You remind me of when I was your age doing everything in my parents driveway. I remember changing the transmission on my 70 Skylark. Being on my back trying to get it into place. My parents warned me not to spill anything on the driveway. All went well until myself and a friend were filling up the transmission. We got it filled, the car was running and what does my friend do? He knocks the container of tranny fluid into the engine compartment. The fluid spills out and hits the fan.. You know what hit the fan next....

Good stuff one step at a time. If you put all the screws in a bag and mark on it what they came of it makes reassembly muck easier. I know when I am putting some thing back together a year later it is easier to look for a bag than try to find10 screws in a tub of 200.

Great job , bagging the hardware is a good idea. Even if you are not going to use the bolt you have a sample for a new one.

yep and those front ends are not easy to take apart,i pulled apart a 68 2+2 and looks prettty similar. You might as well pull the front clip off before you yank the moter out.I had parts all over my dads house also and alot of it ended out gettin everywhere and dad would freak so i always had to store stuff anywhere i could, crawlspace, greenhouse, trunk, dads boat in the winter! He never found that spot...haha good job!
