69 Beaumont wreck at Auction (today)

Perhaps someone can use this for parts.

Was this the car that got wrecked when parked in the owners garage . If I recall an out of control car wiped out the garage and the car inside it awhile back.

looks to be a 1969 V8 Custom built around the 2nd week of December 1968

With B-Jackson infiltrating it's only a matter of time before someone fixes this high priced very rare bump roof model up.

what's a "bump roof model"?   And why does that vintage of A-body hardtops sometimes have vent windows, and sometimes not?  Or does that have to do with the "bump roof"?

69 is ventless except  sedans and wagons still have vent windows

Hi, I found this while googling Beaumonts. I work with the gentleman who owned this car. It had only seen the road maybe 3 times in the last 10 years. His house was at the end of a street, near a thoroughfare. The Honda hit a snow bank, became airborne and entered the garage through the top 2 panels of the door, on top of the Beaumont, pushing it into the rear of the garage. The car was a 454 auto. The only person he could find who would take on the work, wanted over $20K as a starting point, IIRC he received approx. 1/2 of that. He has been with the Armed forces for over 20 years. The reason I even made this post is he is trying to find a replacement for it, so if anyone knows of 68-69 Beaumont on either side of the border for sale. please let me know. He's looking for a clean driver, and doesn't mind a few mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please PM me with any links that you know of.
