Those emblems were used only on 1970 Canadian Pontiac B-bodies and are quite scarce.

I tried to order some through a Pontiac parts department back in 1986. No dice. I'll bet if I tried in 1980 I could've gotten them.

There used to be a place that could recast emblems if you had a broken original but they don't seem to be around anymore. I believe they were the same people in eastern Ontario that were doing the Beaumont and various boat emblems. No matter, I recall that some hobbyist places sell kits for making molds to cast emblems. Now to find an original probably means paying a significcant fee just to borrow them in order to make some.

i recall an article by eddie paul "cars" when he built the 6 1967 gtos for the movie "XXX" the correct emblems were ridiculously priced and he needed enough for 6 cars.
He built his own negative mold for casting new emblems. the metal is only zinc alloy and casts at low temps. I'll see if I can dig out the article. It might make an interesting project for canadian pontiac emblems.

Maybe when Hillar's cars  become available and maybe when .Ray adds to his collection there may be a 454 emblem available for a mould to be cast.  Does that sound like alot of maybes?  Maybe Ray can fill us in on Hillar's cars and what is happening with them.

rarechev and i had a couple of sets cast by a fellow in cobourg a couple of years ago. they weren't cheap but still alot cheaper then the previous post. all you need in an original for the casting
