Here it is...our '57 Laurentian more-door sedan

As promised, a few days ago, pics of our latest addition. I'm currently driving a family friend insane by trying to arrange him to get the frame powdercoated and the chassis assembled before our arrival in Brandon Manitoba in July. We live in Alberta, the car is in Brandon, and I'd like to be able to drop the body on the chassis when we get there for our holidays, so i can haul the car home.

Your car reminds me of one that my friends older brother found in a Toronto alley back around 1977. It was a Laurentian 4-door, turquoise & white with black & white interior (really nice shape). His was a 261 3-speed manual. The car was so quiet, all you could hear was a slight fan noise (and of course the transmission whine in the lower gears). We really thought the Pontiac had more class than the Chevy, I mean look at the rear fenders, tail lights and bumper.. Lots of headroom in that thing. I guess people all used to wear hats back in the days of olde.
