My crazy neighbour is at it again! (in a good way...)

I was working outside tonight when I hear an engine sound I didn't recognize. I hear it slow down and then turn down our long country driveway. When I look over, what do I see?  Well, I wasn't really sure what I was seeing! My neighbour is a Beaumont nut (I've posted pics of his beautiful butternut yellow 67 SD 396 4 speed he restored) but I'm starting to wonder about him.........!!!!! Apparently his first car was a black Morris Minor.

He went all the way to Vancouver Washington to get it.

I pointed out to him that the battery actually looks longer than the valve cover...

Love the 3" exhaust!!! Or is that 3 mm exhaust......

Oh crap Carl, I just got rid of a number of Morris Minor (and Austin) items! I'll let you know if I come across any others. Arrrrghh! (Any idea what year it is?)

IT'S A MOGGY That's what they call them across the pond, almost bought a convert. for my wife a few yrs. back. Got her a 72 MG Midget, lost all my hair fixing "LUCAS" Prince of DARKNESS, last thing to break was the trans, I did a "mickey mouse" repair, sold the car, & 2 yrs. later saw the owner again, he said" best dam car I've ever had, never once broke down"  DAMM, guess the last repair really was the LAST

Yes, he said it's a 60 although I imagine the styling was identical for about 40 years!

Yes, if you hear of stuff that would be great. He told me he has bought another one as well. Not sure what the plans are for it. Parts car maybe?

Carl, I don't want you to think that was the intent of my email.  I had a number of other Austin/Morris magazines, and pamphlets that I just traded for the drive in speakers.  If the timing was better, I would have removed a few from the "collection".
Having said that, don't feel obligated to keep any of the few items that I sent you.  Feel free to do whatever you like!
PS  Great B+W picture!  (Big difference to the NA vehicles of the era...)
