Picked up a bench seat from rabbit64cs friday, its from a 71 cutlass. Just set er in for now, lines up with the factory holes even!!   Needs new seat foamiess,  not sure if ill get a cover or have one made at the moment.

Picked up some pro form satin black, painted my taillight housings And the non broken grill I had laying around.

As far as body work goes its getting close to being primed.  I started masking stuff off today, as well as painted the core support black.

 

That is all biggrin

Cars been primed, blocked, touched up, re primed. Jams, underside of trunk, and underside of hood are done. Can't upload pics from my phone, and can't get to the actual site(stuck on the mobile one now). So you guys are gonna have to wait to see final color choice. Swamper: yer car looks sick!!

Thanks guys!!!

Now I guess the fun part of re assembly can begin, when ever I get time!!

Got pretty well everything chrome and body part wise ready for assembly other than some polishing trim.

Interior is what I've gotta start gathering parts for. Which is door panels, back window trim, headliner bows, seat cover foamie, some sort of sound deadening for the floor.

Hopefully by spring it will be ready to rock!!!

Got a bunch done over the last couple days.  Mostly all the outside trim is on.  Had to massage the front bumper to get it to fit better.  The mirror I got has a Bowtie in it, however one with out it as should be able to be sourced.  Not a pressing issue.

It is also nice to finally see it with both eyebrows on too biggrin

Trunk seal is in, broke the trunk lock in process.  so I'll have to get another.

Some buffing n wetsanding has been done.  Looks alot better.

Door lock seals/new trunk lock is in, got what I thought was the correct clips for the window trim. Ended up being the ones for the front only. So only got that on. Cut some insulation/glued it
To the roof. Hoping it helps quieten it down some.

Got the door panels in, had to strip the paint of the stainless strips the panels lock into. Some idiot only painted the back ones!! Also pumped the doors/quarters full of rust check/wd40-motor oil mix for some cheap insurance.

Chrome finish was toast on the arm rests, so I scuffed and painted em satin black for now. Might get new ones some day. Painted the crank knobs black as a couple were the factory blue still.

Cleaned the inside right out, filled the holes from the bucket seats.

Got the back window trim on, what a pita. Was a lot of swearing going on.
